Smoothie's On the Go

Why you should drink more smoothies...

Whether it is for breakfast, to have on the go, or just for a nice afternoon treat… they just make you feel so good! It’s like giving your body a double espresso, except it’s actually good for you and you don’t get the dreaded coffee crash (which is the worst). 

I used to always skip breakfast, as I never really fancied anything early in the morning, or I was always in a rush to get out on time for work or university. By 11am I was STARVING and would be ready for my lunch! If you’re anything like me, then homemade smoothies are the perfect thing for you, as you can take them with you to work or to class and they’ll keep you super fuelled until lunchtime.

I think smoothies are the perfect example to prove that healthy eating does not take a lot of time at all! Just throw a load of amazing ingredients in your blender at home and you’re ready to go, it really is that easy. The hardest part is deciding what ingredients work best together, so we’ve done just that for you!

We’ve put together our favourite smoothie recipes for Berry Beauty, Clean Greens and Muscle Protein, which we promise you will LOVE. We know a lot of people can be put off by the thought of a greens drink or smoothie, but honestly this green smoothie is just the BEST! So please give them a go and we’d love to know what you think. Antioxidant Booster Smoothie

  • 2tsp Berry Beauty powder
  • 2 handfuls of Frozen Berries 
  • Half a Frozen Banana 
  • 100ml Coconut Milk
  • 100ml Water
  • Ice

Simply blend all of the ingredients in either a blender or food processor until smooth. Pour the mixture into a glass or bottle and you’re ready to go!


Morning Detox Smoothie

  • 2tsp Clean Greens powder
  • Half an Avocado
  • 1 chopped Apple
  • 1 handful of chopped Pineapple
  • 1 handful of chopped Mango
  • 1 handful of Spinach
  • 250ml of Water
  • Few Ice Cubes

Simply throw all of the ingredients into a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. This smoothie is perfectly sweet and creamy, it is an amazing way to wake your body up in the morning! 


Protein Power Smoothie

  • 25g Muscle Protein powder
  • Half a Frozen Banana
  • 1tsp of Natural Peanut or Almond Butter
  • 100ml of Almond Milk (or other plant-based milk)
  • 100ml of Water 
  • A squeeze of Agave Nectar or Maple Syrup (for added sweetness)

Blend all of the ingredients in a blender or food processor, until creamy and smooth.

This is the ultimate post-workout treat. Especially for after a tough gym session or morning run, there’s nothing more you deserve than a nice sweet (and healthy) protein shake to boost your energy and help recover quicker, ready for your next session!
