RAW SNOWFLAKE SLICES
SERVES | 4-6 people
INGREDIENTS:
BASE -
- 1 cup of almonds
- 1 cup of shredded coconut
- 1 1/2 cup of oat flour (or blended oats!)
- 3 tbsp. of maple syrup
- 1 tbsp. of melted coconut oil
WHITE LAYER -
- 1 cup of soaked cashews
- 1/3 can of coconut milk
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- ½ cup shredded coconut
- 1 tbsp. of melted coconut oil
- ½ cup of lemon juice
BLUE LAYER -
- 1 tsp. of Blue Spirulina 💙
- 1 cup of soaked cashews
- 1/3 can of coconut milk
- 1 1/2 cups of lemon juice
- 1tbsp. of melted coconut oil
- ¼ cup of maple syrup
METHOD:
- Add the almonds to your blender for the base layer and quickly blend until they form a powder. Then add the remaining ingredients for the base layer and blend until a sticky/dough texture is formed.
- Scrape the mixture into a greased baking tin (with grease proof paper) and spread out evenly. Then pop into the freezer.
- Add the ingredients for the White Layer to your blender and blend until smooth. Then pour over the top of your base layer and put back into the freezer.
- Add the ingredients for the the Blue Layer to your blender and blend until smooth. Then pour the remaining mix over the top and spread evenly.
- Pop back in the freezer for at least 3 hours before cutting into squares and tucking in!
