AUTUMN BREAKFAST OATMEAL 🍂

We love starting our mornings with a warm bowl of oats, oh and a cup of Shroom Coffee on the side!🕺🏻🍄

Giving us the ultimate brain food in the office -  so this recipe is definitely a firm favourite for us during the winter months! ❄️

Oats are an amazing source of energy in the mornings and to keep you fuller for longer! We have added some of our Muscle Protein blend to this recipe, to give it a boost in plant protein, fibre & nutrients. So if you're coming home from an early morning run, this recipe is perfect for that protein boost too! 💪🏻

WARM AUTUMN OATMEAL 

SERVES 1

INGREDIENTS:

Oats

  • 1/2 cup of GF oats 
  • 1 cup of nut milk
  • 1/2 tsp. of cinnamon 

✨Want to add a plant protein boost? Add 1tbsp. of our Muscle Protein blend ✨

Toppings

  • 1 banana
  • 1 handful of almonds
  • 1 tbsp. of nut butter 
  • 1 tbsp. of hemp seeds or pumpkin seeds
  • 1 tbsp. of maple syrup or agave nectar 

 

METHOD: 

  1. Mix together the oats, milk, cinnamon and Muscle Protein in a saucepan. Then put onto a medium heat to simmer. 
  2. In another pan, add a drop of coconut oil and bring to a medium heat. 
  3. Coat the banana in a little maple syrup or agave nectar, then cook both sides on the heat until golden brown and caramelised. 
  4. Once the oats are cooked, pour them into a bowl and top with the caramelised banana, nut butter, almonds and seeds!
